Our dive boat “Gorilla” has an on-board toilet and hot water shower! It also has sun shades and windbreaks for hot and cold weather. The maximum speed is 30 knots. The “Gorilla” dive boat brings you to the Yaeyama archipelago, including Ishigaki Island.

Love scuba diving!! Momo(her nickname) believes that “If I’m not having fun, my guests also aren’t having fun!” She is quite active both on the ground and underwater.
Momo likes taking photos of marine life--both macro photography and wide angle photography and she looks for opportunities to dive with her digital single-lens reflex camera. She especially likes macro photography and finds any tiny living things, including sea slugs. She usually takes photos of manta rays, sharks, coral, gobies, and sea slugs, but her favorite shots are of the guests.
She takes photos all day during the diving trips which are held several times at various places every year. Momo is enjoying Ishigaki life with her two dogs and one cat. Please see her photo gallery.

Akihiro is the owner of “Diving Service SUNNY SUNNY” and the captain of our dive boat “Gorilla.” He will take you the best diving spots in the Yaeyama area, using his 10 years of experience in Ishigaki. After work, he enjoys eating potato chips and watching DVDs of “The Simpsons.”
